Hey guys, I'm almost freaking 18 finally but still won't turn before WMC. I really want to go but for some places even being on the guestlist won't get me in unless I'm 18. Does anyone know the proper way to get a fake ID?

I made my own fake ID when I was 16. Take a real ID, hold it over a pot of boiling water with tongs for like 30 minutes, then peel off the laminant. I scraped off the numbers with a razor blade. The driver's license number contains your year of birth so you gotta scrape that off too. Also, Florida IDs have (used to have?) a big ass red bar under your photo saying "UNDER 21 UNTIL XX-XX-XXXX" so you gotta scrape that too. Another thing to worry about is your ID security, ie holograms. Sometimes the hologram will land right on top of the pertinent information that you're scraping, in which case you're pretty F'd.

After that I got a very fine brush at a local arts and crafts store for really detailed work. Thing had like three or four hairs max...dip that in white out, dab very carefully at the scraped numbers. The tricky part was finding a high quality printer that could handle an ID going through it, as well as positioning the id such that the new numbers would land in the correct spot. I know somebody in a newspaper office so I borrowed their printer. I had to measure it all perfectly and run a ton of tests before I was confident enough to do it. Attach ID to thick paper with double sided tape, run through printer, voila.

Took it to kinkos to get it relaminated and it was done. The result was the splotchiest most amateur bullshit excuse for an ID I've ever seen. The numbers and dates were somewhat lopsided, obviously more bold than the legit numbers around it, you could see splotches of whiteout in the light, etc. The worst part is that I miscalculated the dates somehow so my fake ID said I was 24 instead of 21. I was 16.

That id got me into Space multiple times, crobar, other south beach clubs, santaros ampitheatre tampa, Avalon LA with Bas that one time, etc. I was amazed every single time it worked.

Then I tried buying a six pack of bud light with it at a gas station once in tampa and the asshole attendant took one look at it and pocketed it and told me to scram before he called the police bastard. I got a new one since then tho so fuck him.
