Re: Tall Paul
Damn, that really blows. I'm sorry that happened to you, and I'm also sorry that your image of Buzz is so tarnished.
I've only had one bad experience there, and that was when two yo-boys (Bad Boy Bill was spinning, IMO he brings out the "dirty ravers") tried to unsuccessfully rob me. After I fought them off (one put me into a headlock while the other went through my pockets, etc.) they yelled to security that I had ecstacy, which I didn't. Security came up to me and instead of going after the hoodlums, they led me into the bathroom to search me. I was totally clean as I had told them from the start, and when I tried to explain to them about the hoods I was simply told to report to one of the security guys if I saw the guys who did it. When I asked for the security guy's name who I was told to report to, he refused to give it to me. He just kept saying "anonymous," which I found to be very sketchy.
Anyway, I've never seen Tall Paul throw down a bad set so I'd have to say that your experience wasn't necessarilly an ordinary one. As far as bringing your wallet, I just bring my money and ID in a plastic bag because it always gets soaked from all the perspiration from dancing.

Well I may go back one more time to give it one more shot in the summer time. The summer time usually tends to draw out the better crowds. But if I do give it one more shot and it sucks again then there will be no more buzz for me. But I will say that if Tall Paul comes to town and spins somewhere else I would make sure to give him another shot.....
