I am just curious to know how many TAs out there have boring office jobs and spend their entire workday surfing the net or on TA?

I will be the first to admit that I have an office job (internship) and I do spend a lot of my time on TA and on the net!

Nope...I work at the Marriott hotel by Eaton Centre moving tables and chairs and setting up stuff for $10.29/hour (starting ).

Fortunately because of full time school, I am only limited to boring office work for 25h a week. Nevertheless, the time spent staring at at computer in my little cubicle, is enough to deter me from enjoying my computer at home to a large degree.

Boring office job? I wish I had one. I work at a grocery store as a cashier and everyday I leave work with a tremendous amount of hate for people.....especially rude, ignorant people. I also work at a gym as a receptionist which I prefer much more. I'm actually looking for a full time office job right now. I don't care if it's boring, anything is better than working at the grocery store I work at.

gah that was me last summer, and that will be me again in 4-6 weeks.
