geeze, just saying the speakers were too loud.
The sound quality wasn't too hot and it seemed to be purely volume distortion. It flat our hurt my ears when I walked by the speakers.
I was there for like 60-90 minutes before having to take off for a Spundae event, and my ears were ringing pretty good when I left.
It's just a suggestion. You can have a great party without blowing everyone's eardrums out.

yeah ruby skye is guilty of this almost every other time i'm there. sound fatigue can clear out a crowd as quickly as heat can. a couple of times i've left clubs early not because i was tired but because it was too loud to enjoy the music. i bring ear plugs everywhere i go now, but it's something to be aware of when throwing parties
see you guys there!

Ya, ina way I do agree with ya Dave. My ass wears Earplugs now.. but when I took em off for a bit it was loud.
Im going to have a go at that mixer early, get there and tune it for the best sound. All the Mp3's and digital audio I have is 320 or better, so the sound should be excellent durning my set. Most of it is direct from Vinyl, so it should sound great in there this time around.

Dave, well pointed out. Thank you for letting us know. There is a warning red indicator light that blinks when the levels are peakimg too loud. They did upgrade the sound there but it needed more care from the djs to keep it from sounding too distorted. I may have been careless as well. I know the monitor speakers were very crappy and couldnt really mix with them. I had to turn them down and mix straight from the house.
Ill be monitoring the night and accepting feedback as well. let me know if it starts to get distorted. I know they have a limiter to control the peaking but it will distort it as well.
Looking forward to a great night.

Yo Ish!
If you gonna play a similar set you did at Paradise Lounge earlier this month at next month's party I'm gonna have to up my Life Insurance Policy. You almost killed me last time. Me and my whole crew can't control our body from moving! Thank god for the AC system and water that night. My crew and I went back to my pad for a house party but no one can get off my couch
