I've never heard rock, and ive never heard pop.
It's reall nice chilled/loungey, then they throw in the trance every few tracks.
Aight, thx, ill definitely give it a listen.
Its more like music that older russian folk would be listening to, which tends to be like rock/pop.

Shufutinskiy or Shuftinskiy. and check out russian section on allofmp3. If you like russian rock, have a listen to Agata Kristi (opium & Thriller albums are my faves), B2, etc. Of course, such classics like "Kino - Gruppa Krovi" or "Nautilus Pompilius" (pre 1990's) are not to be missed.
For real LOL check out Serega. Oh, and in case you did not know Bobina is a russian EDM act
No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

"Brat" soundtracks are just awesome, both of them
Also some suggestions, Lube, Zemfira are definitely worth checking out

dunno, Lube and Zemfira are toooo pop-ey IMHO. Zemfira is just friggin weird - and her singing is not for everyone.
Chizh is kinda cool but again - probably not for everyone. Stay away from Mumiy Troll - what a bunch of friggin weirdos, annoying as f*ck!
If you like "blatniye" pesni, tipa Shufutinsky - check out Lesopoval, Tokaryev, Vysotskiy.
HiFi are pretty cool (tho definitely on Pop side). Give Picnic a listen - not for everyone but they are legends of russian prog rock - really really really good! My personal favorite of theirs is "There on the edge of the earth" (tam na samom na kraju zemli). Check this out: http://www.piknik.info/VIDEO/
Akvarium, Mashina Vremeni, DDT - "old school russian rock".
Here's something you might enjoy (trancey pop, with really juicy bassline):
Irakli - Kapli Absenta (Andrei Harchenko Remix)
and
Irakli - London Paris (trance remix)
njoy

Don't count out Splin!
One of my old teachers at Stony Brook is the main guy character in this music video. It was so weird when he showed the video on the last day of class.
