I guess you would have to run it with ASIO drivers to avoid all the latency though.

hahah. yeah you get what you pay for. freeware man. i dont think so, nothings free mate. grab up some demo's until your can afford the original software.
if possible try to get the computermusic magazine. afaik there comes a completely free software-studio with every issue, good enough to get started: http://www.kvraudio.com/get/138.html
check out kvr for further freeware hosts and plugins.

Buzz is an incredibly powerful piece of software with an almost incomprehensible gui, but it's free, so I'm not complaining too much.
