Is it true smoking will be banned inside clubs and pubs in victoria in july? I honestly can't see how its going to work...(im a heavy smoker myself) What about places that charge passout fees, It could be a costly night especially in dance clubs where most people smoke.

What are your thoughts on this?

I can only hope, not many things are more foul than coming home the morning after a night of partying and stinking like ciggies even though you don't smoke.

clubs are dirrrty place where peolple go and listen to dirty music to have fun - but fun comes at a price imo it should

you pay the price when you get inside. you pay the price if you take drugs, or smoke, or drink. you pay the price when you come home and you can't hear properly for a while. that sounds fair. but if you start smoking why should i help pay the price for you?

If u know there will be smokers in the club and well it might take 6 months off your life (as a non smoker) - are u willing to take that sacrifice for the music and the good times?

My mum used to be a smoker for countless years, ive recently forced her to give it up with the exchange i wont do drugs...

Anyway, personally i enjoy the smell since ive been around it for so long, i get more put of by the smell of the fog machines...

+ it adds to atmosphere. imo

you dont understand - my cigarette is my life prop - it helps people like me to make my point

anyway im quitting soon
