need advice - stantondj pro 2000 or 3000

hey guys
i need advice on the following;

im buying a new headphone asap (within 1 or 2 weeks), and i noticed the stanton dj pro 2000. iyt has very good reviews and a good price/quality ratio. so i wanted to buy that 1. then i noticed the stanton dj pro 3000. its only 25 euro's more expensive. that aint much, i know, but im a student. im having a gig in 2 months and i already have to 'save' loads of money in order to buy some vinyls

my question; is the dj pro 3000 worth spending 25 euro extra on, relative to the dj pro 2000?
is there a difference which makes it worth spending 25 euro's more?what are the benefits?

and what are your experiences with a dj pro 2000?

I use the 2000 model, and I enjoy them very much.

I have only one complaint: they can sometimes seem a little on the heavy side. Of course I went from the very, very basic Numark HF125 to the Stantons, and that's not exactly comparing apples to apples.

I bedroom DJ only, so I can't tell you how well they perform in a club setting. I can only tell you have I have had zero quality issues with mine in nearly a year's time. I feel like my money was well spent.

Solid set of cans.

Big ear piece, completely blocks out outside sound. Use them to spin a few hrs before and didn't notice any discomfort.

Drawback is sound quality is a bit iffy compared to others, but IMO worth a invest.

You could also as Tiesto as he seems to be fond of Stantons for cans

How much are the 2000s? They are so ugly At least the V506 looks old school.

How much are they in Holland? They only cost 100 bones in the USA.
