Sad Not Everyone Likes Palestinians,

These poor, poor people. I guess you supporters also need to get POed at Iraq as well....

Seized Palestinians freed in Iraq

Some 30 Palestinians seized by armed men in Baghdad have been freed, the UN refugee agency says.
The UNHCR says most of the Palestinians held in two separate incidents early on Tuesday are believed to be refugees.

In the first case, men reportedly wearing Iraqi security forces uniforms broke into a house rented by the UNHCR, seizing 17 Palestinians.

Shortly afterwards, the second group of 13 Palestinians was kidnapped in another part of the Iraqi capital.

The UNHCR said the Palestinians were freed after spending several hours in detention.

"Most of them are very scared," UNHCR spokeswoman Astrid Van Genderen Stort told the Associated Press news agency in Geneva.

In the first incident, the armed men entered the UNHCR building at around 0500 local time (0200 GMT), broke windows and doors, abducted the men but left the women behind, the UNHCR said earlier.

The second group of Palestinians was kidnapped later in another district of Baghdad later.

"Obviously it's causing a lot of panic among the Palestinian community in Baghdad who have been targeted for the past years," Ms van Genderen Stort said.

Some 15,000 Palestinians live in Baghdad as refugees, but are unable to move freely because of a lack of documentation, UNHCR officials say.

They say Palestinians face constant threats, and are increasingly targeted for killings, kidnapping, harassment and other abuses.

Palestinians received preferential treatment when Saddam Hussein ruled the country.

They supported his invasion of Kuwait but have become targets since Saddam's overthrow four years ago.

So why is it that these people always get the bad end of the deal?? It must really suck to have to live life like this.

Clearly America's fault for removing Saddam from power thereby creating the circumstances which give rise to such incidents. Next.

See, here in America, we're so responsible that not only are we responsible for our own actions, but we're responsible for the actions of other people, too. Oh, but only if those actions are bad!

Also, you can't forget that this is also the fault of the Jews. Sure, it happened in Iraq and by Iraqis, but if the Jews weren't so horrible, they wouldn't have been "refugees" in the first place.

So, in the end I blame America first and Israel second. I place no responsibility on their kidnappers.

Kidnappers in Iraq dont give a shit if you're Muslim, Christian, American, Iranian, French or whatever. Remember how Russia was against the war in Iraq? Russia and Iraq always had good relations and Russians are overall supported by Iraqis. Well now, how many Russians have died in bombing, abductions, and even freakin attack on a Russian convoy of diplomats that eventually resulted in their executions by beheading???? The kidnappers dont make any difference in judgement. Their goal is to kick out of the country ALL NON-IRAQIS. And have been quite successful. So its not just against Palestinians.

Quite a dumb idea I'd say. I remember the hostage taking of the Red Cross workers too. Its amazing how some of them managed to survive their ordeal in captivity. Others have died, sadly.

So you guys seriously can't diffentiate between the state and it's polices/power structures and the people? I don't know, maybe you do have to some anarchist convictions to understand that concept, although I certainly don't think it's necessary.

I'm not quite sure how to interpret your comment, but you do know we were both being sarcastic?

That much was obvious. Although I'm not entirely sure if that was directed at anyone in particular or not.
