What are your thoughts on this turntable. I have an offer to get if for $299 U.S!!! Is it a good TT? Is it worth the money?

it's a gemini PT-2400 but it's got an iMac casing and blue lights. the blue lights are cool, but i don't like the case.

as far as the quality of the tables.. from what i've been reading, almost anybody who isn't looking to spend the premium to get technics, the 2100/2400 is thier first choice.

PT 2400 $342.77 brand new!!!

The pt 24xx tables are the next best thing to technics...There really isn't a difference between the 24xx and the 2100. The only difference besides the looks is lcd on the 24xx...

The pitch % LCD screen on the 2400 series is very useful.
Also the blue lights and cover i think are niceee...

You can get them for US$300 at most places, but Hollywooddj.com have them for $239!

you can get pt2100 for under $200 U.S if you search hard enough... pt2100 is same as pt2400 except for the lcd screen and 2400 has 78rpm option..i would go for the 2100's if i were you =)
