Laptop for sale! Pentium M Centrino, 1.4ghz, 1gb RAM etc...
I have a 3 year old laptop for sale. I bought it from a local manufacturer (they make servers etc... OEM guys) for around $1500. It's based on the CL-51 generic laptop, but the internals are all top quality Intel parts.
Heres the specs of the top of my head:
-Pentium M (Centrino) 1.4ghz
-1 GB DDR RAM
-40 GB hard drive (partitioned to 2 x 20gb)
-CDRW drive
-Wireless card (intel 2200)
-15.4" monitor (max 1024 x 768 res)
-Intel 64mb video
-Windows XP PRO (CD not included)
-Office XP PRO (CD not included)
-IE7
-2 x USB 2.0, 1x Firewire, 1 x RJ45, modem (who cares ), PCMCIA slot, VGA/S-Vid out, printer port etc...

You can keep the pre-installed OS etc...or just re-format. I have "backup" copies of XP/Office installed...actually getting all the major updates, and havent had any issues. No viruses EVER and I check for spyware/virii regularly. Or you can just re-format re-install...up to you. Runs perfectly fine now tho.
Asking $500....I think thats a pretty resonable price....no?
Any questions, let me know!
Thanks!
Jon
I mostly use it for e-mailing, accounting, surfing etc....but sometimes use it for Photoshop etc....and its actually quite fast...more than adequate for most every day stuff. Battery lasts around 4-5 hrs which is pretty good!
