mario kart SNES >>>>>> mario kart 64

single player was too easy, courses were way too wide, basically all fun that was in the SNES mario kart was sucked out in the n64 version

even with multiplayer....mario kart 64 blew big time...it didn't mask the shortcomings of this game

oh, and the SNES version had 2 player modes too

i was under the impression that the Wii remote wasnt even compatible with the Virtual Console. I think you can only use those 'classic controllers' you have to buy.

Weak, I don't have money for that right now, not to mention I don't really know how the whole Wii points thing works and how to use the virtual console. Bear with me, I rarely play video games and I'm retarded to the new technology of online gaming and shit like that. I went online to check out the store and I didn't see anything that mentioned the Wii points at all, much less anything about downloads for the virtual console. The only link for a store I found on nintendo.com linked me to this store where they sold stuff for their older systems.

Question, in the top right corner picture of the Mario Kart 64 screenshots, who is the guy who's in third that's wearing the blue hood? I don't remember him from the original Mario Kart 64 and I don't know who he is

and Demoted, the virtual console is one of the main "windows" on the Wii interface when you boot up the system. If you have wireless access, your Wii will connect to the web and browse a library of classic NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, and TurboGraphix 16 games. You can buy a Wii points card at Walmart or any game store and use it to purchase and download virtual console games.





$20 gets you 2000 points, and the downloadable games range from $5-10 a piece.
