This for those who are on the verge of buying thier first or maybe next "Power Synth". I am currently a Virus TI owner and I recently came into some cash so I said "fuck it" and I picked up a Lead 3 to get some different sounds out of my studio. Long story short, the Nord is going back to the store on Monday. The overall sounds are all the same. It is pretty versatile when it comes to your FM synth sounds and huge trance leads and pads but the TI beats the hell out of it any day of the week. With no mod matrix, no internal effects, no vocoder, and I could go on and on and on, the TI wins hands down. This thread is to simply state my findings and to help anyone deciding which way to go.
