D'Morse video starts off strong but the 2nd and 3rd tracks you use in it are whack and out of place with the editing, 3rd track might not look so bad if a differnt 2nd track was used. But the 3rd track is still prob a bit too cheesy, lol
My four cents.
Video production is my career, so I'm anal. Video is edited well, just _PERSONALLY_ think could have used a better selection of music to go with the editing. )
When I get the balls to take a $5k, $10k, or $65k camera to an event I'll edit one myself. But I'm always afraid of breaking the camera somehow, lol. I'd be up shit's creek, lol. I wouldn't let myself do anything below good quality HDV, but would prefer either doing DVCPro HD (using DVC Pro P2 cam recording to external FireStore FS-100) or HDCam -- prob DVCPro HD since I could record to 720p which would allow for better final quality than 1080i when it comes to posting ont he web.
BTW, YouTube pixelates because it uses the old H.263/Sorenson Spark/Flash 6 codec and bases the bitrate on the length of the file and also encodes using simple CBR. I think MySpace might be using On2VP6/Flash 8+ for its codec but not sure. On2VP6 encode times are like 10x-40x what Sorenson Sparks can be on certain system, so they'd probably need dozens of servers if not hundreds to be able to keep up on encoding to On2VP6. Haven't looked too deep into seeing so. Might just be using a good bitrate no matter the length and maybe VBR or 2-pass VBR.
