GET IT! It's a really sick mixer! You buying from someone selling in TO?

I have a SMAC PRO40...bought it about 7 years ago. I liked it so much, I started selling ECLER in Canada/US!!

Seriously tho...its a great, solid mixer...with great EQ's, and good sound quality. I actually lent my SMAC to my buddies...oh....maybe 3 years ago (I think they own it now...hehhe) and they beat on the thing DAILY (two roomates who spin hard techno in a big loft...you do the math) and the thing has ZERO problems...no bleeding faders, nothing! It still impresses me to this day.

i own a nuo5, and i used to mix on a friend's smack 40 in pub.

smack 40 is a solid mixer, he used it since 3-4 years, some painting on fader is gone but the sound is still the same, good sound. Many friends which play hardcore/hardtech in free parties use it, you can't kill this mixer

i guess nuo3 is the same quality as the nuo5, the is a professional mixer, sound is good and damn, i love the big eq button.

nuo is the serie which replaces smack in ecler's products.
if you have money, go for the nuo3, its more comfortable to mix on it.

I actually prefer the EQ's on the SMAC myself. On the SMAC 40 in particular, the ranges are different than the other SMAC's, and the frequencies are also different.

On the SMAC 40, the EQ's go +/-15db (no kill on the EQ's themselves), *but* it does have kill switches. Theres just something about those EQ's that I really like. Although, a lot of people I've lent the mixer to dont like the EQ's...and they do prefer the NUO EQ's...go figure!

*sigh* I miss my SMAC 40. I went to visit her last nite actually!
