For the most part i love their work. Seen their live PA as well, a great show, especially the electric violin session.

Looking forward to the forthcoming Son Kite album, ought to be great.

And of course can't forget their Minilogue alias either.. quality duo all'n'all.

I only know this remix, which is actually done under their Minilogue alias. I'm so glad I picked up this vinyl at the time, because it must be one of my favourite tracks ever. It's getting pretty wanted too, it seems.

You pick up this working girl who's hooked on smack, who hussles and scores. "That's all I do" she says, she says "Ten bucks for head, fifteen for half-and-half". She says "Three hits a day at 35 per", you say "That's seven tricks a day at least", but she says "Sometimes I get lucky. Once this guy gives me a bill-and-half just to eat me, only time I ever came".
You figure you can save her. You sell your color tv, that keeps her off the streets a whole day. You hawk your typewriter for one jolt. Then your shotgun, your watch. A week later you say "Listen I'm a little short", but she says "No scratch, no snatch". You say "Look it is better to give", but she says "Beat off creep".
One night they spot you on the street in your skibbies trying to sell your shoes. You tell them who you are, but they nail you. Then she happens by and she says "Christ you look fucked", she says "Hang tough!". But you don't say anything, you just think "what a bum rap for a nice, sensitive guy like me".

been a huge fan of their stuff for several years now.
they have always tried to evolve and never followed any special trends. They are also workoholics running two active aliases, touring and administrating their label Digital Structures (home of Vibrasphere, Jaļa, Ticon)
listen to their early stuff dirty and tribal stuff such as Topic Perm and compare it with their later slick and funky stuff such as The Stars Within Us.
They are truly geniouses and their live shows are spectacular. Get the Live at Tokyo DVD and check out by yourself. Can't wait till they release a new album.

Oh yeah the live violin thing is cool

Their older stuff, like the first two albums, is slightly boring imo. Colours however was really great and they've done some quality remixes the past few years. They have also put out quite a lot of refreshing stuff under the Minilogue alias lately. I also like Sebastian's album Kooler - Open from 2004, especially the track Freefall, proggy stuff with emphasis on heavy tribal beats. If i had to choose a favorite track by one or both of them, that would be it, Kooler - Freefal.
