Bassline help

was just wondering if anyone knows how to achieve that fucked up bassline sound from bodyrox - yeah yeah (d.ramirez), i assume its a square wave? but i just can't seem to get that twisted noise, when i programme it just sounds like ya standard square wave, also any recommendations for VSTs to use? i've been using albino n vanguard to no avail

cheers.

ah well, i just looked into sidechaining, so its taught me a little bit, bassline and kick sounds alot more natural.

I'll try z3ta, I've got it on my computer somewhere I'm sure.

I just can't get that fucked up sound, I dunno if its the pitch changing and the timing.

Sylenth1 would be the perfect synth for that:

(no external FX)

And here's the preset (Sylenth v1.20 by the way, won't work correctly with older versions):
