Santiago Nino - Motion
Taken from istmomusic.com:
After his tour with Paul Van Dyk through Central and South America in December of 2006, Santiago kick starts 2007 with a massive original release on his label Dub Tech Recordings. “Motion” is the title of this truly amazing solo composition. It is the first of many Danceversify singles to come, ‘Danceversify’ being the title of his debut artist album, due in stores in March of 2007.
The entire release is made up of 4 versions of the track and it will be released in two parts, exclusively through Vonyc.com. The first part already available for download on Vonyc.com, is made up of the original mix and the ‘Static Blue Rmx/FerK Edit’.
The Original Mix is a beautifully arranged progressive trancer. Subtle and inspiring melodies extending through a 10-minute structure which Santiago manages to keep extremely interesting throughout. The flow of this track redefines the very essence of progressive trance, rising and falling intensities at a perfect rate. Soundwise, Santiago stamps this one with his rumbling bass line and subtly dub techy percs. Truly amazing work.
The ‘Static Blue Rmx / FerK Edit’ steps up the pace to a full on trancer at 137 BPM. Static’s epic but yet extremely modern trance production style lays the foundation for this monster of a tune. FerK takes this base to another level with his tight edits and additional interweaving of melodies and breaks. This tune is best described as emotional yet very potent. When the break comes in and the melodies begin unwrapping, it is filled with melancholic sensations, but when the build up finally drops the energy is explosive! You don’t know what massive is until you’ve tried this track on the floor!
