[Free Album] Emphased Reality - From Pillar to Post

Hey people!

I've put up an artist album I made a while ago for free download! It's called Emphased Reality - From Pillar to Post and a lot of different styles are represented!

Who is Emphased Reality?

Emphased Reality is a Progressive/Trance producer from the Netherlands. He's signed to labels such as Enhanced Recordings, Alter Ego Recordings and Real Music Recordings. He also just started a label with a friend called Active Recordings.

Why this album?

This isn't the first album from Emphased Reality, he already made one two years ago called "Uneven Album". This album was called uneven because there were much styles represented. Altough Thomas is only signed to progressive and trance labels, he's an all-round producer. He always makes to much music and most of it the labels won't sign because they don't release the style. But Thomas wants to share his music with everyone and that's why he made this album.

So, what styles?

The album exists out of 2 CD's. CD 1 is the real album with styles represented like breakbeat, deephouse, trance, progressive, house, lounge, ambient and even some rock. CD 2 is an exclusive bonus mix with the "real" Emphased Reality styles like progressive-breaks, progressive-trance and normal progressive.

And uhh... does this album tell a story or something?

Well, it's a music album, not an audio book so it doesn't tell a story. But Thomas had two pictures in his mind when he made this album. The first one is somebody in his car, listning to this album. And the second picture is some one in the train, listning to his iPod with this album on it. That's were the name comes from too btw, if you travel (with or without music) you go from A to B. So he just changed A and B into Pillar and Post (doh!).

download link and more info here:

If you like it, share it with your friends!

Enjoy!

Hey man, CD2 is a mix CD, that was the general idea. CD1 is full tracks, altough most are album edits. So it's not just some full length tracks I made, it's an album.

Enjoying this very much. Its different than what I expected, based on some of the previous productions of yours that I've heard before. Although i might add that it was a pleasant suprise. Specifically CD 2 is more to my liking only b/c the 4/4 beat is present in most of the songs and they all are much longer than the editted versions on cd 1. But I really havn't gave the entire compliation a full listen just yet.
but I just wanted to say thank you for sharing.

Hey man, cool you enjoy it! Anyway, you're not the first one who says this... yes well, and I understand why. Most of my releases are more trancy, but well, this album really represents my producing style. It's a bit of a shame most people think I'm only a trance artist, but that's to be expected if your signed to Enhanced Recordings.

Plus the fact that you're using tranceaddict to get opinions. Most people here (like myself) are gonna be impartial to the trancy style.

Got a chance to listen to some more of cd 2 and I gotta say that I'm diggin all the different insturments that you use, they belend nicely into and out of one another. All the tracks have a very relaxing feel to them. especially find track 7 very well placed in the mix. Seems like it has a more complex rhythm then the tracks before it but anyways I'm still listening to it but I had to hit repeat on track 7. Nice Work!
