Great pulse in this, really driving! But I agree with BOOsTER, it needs more variation, maybe another synth with a second melody. Good job, however!

Listening.

That shaker in the background, doesnt work as well as you would think.

Kick and that bass stuff works well.

The first break.. how about some strings there.. som subtle ones.

Im personally not a big fan of hats and stuff playing without any kick.. maybe first break is a bit too long.. cut it 8/16 bars or something.

I also think a simple open hat adds great drive to about any track, but not everyone thinks that.

I just got over halfways now, getting a little bored.. some new sounds are introduced.. but the percussion line isnt interesting enough.

You got a good fundament for a track here, just needs more elements, filtered sounds, variation and depth.

Great mixing on this one. That kick sounds really deep, but believe it or not I think it's actually lacking just a little bit in those sub frequencies. It's definitely got a signature down there, but it's not punching my sub for some reason, I think it might need a boost around 50-100 Hz or even just a very soft sub-bass kick/effect layered on top.

Mind you, the bass seems to be occupying those frequencies, so if you take the suggestion above you might need to EQ the bass to preserve the headroom. Tough call... the bass is more sparsely arranged than the kick in this track, so I think the kick should win for low frequencies.

To be honest, I was hoping during the intro, for more funky/jazzy material to come in later. The scary arp isn't without its charm, I just think something a little funkier might have been more effective, because that's the style in which the rhythm is arranged with the chopped vocal hits and so on. It would also largely take care of some of the other comments about filling up the space. That's a style thing though, so I can't really say anything objective.

The technical details are down pat, so no worries there. I don't think it needs any tweaks.

P.S. Not to be a pedant or anything, but it's raspberry.

P.P.S. Subtle: strings, LOL... not in this track bro.

i like my percs with no kick in a breakdown so im gonna leave those-

well. was thinking more of filtered,, sequenced or sweeping pads, going at the same note as the bassline, just too add more depth.

ITS RASBERRY NOW!

Thanks for the highly relevant spelling correction.

I was going for a particular vibe on this track and RARELY do I succeed with that when i set out to do it so im happy with that. I made this track with a specific club in ind where this sort of music is what goes off. House with that dark driving hypnotic feel and big booming sounds.

I'll investigate the bass/kick and possibly add some more fills/efx etc.

thanks again
