SCOTT BOND is, of course, co-promoter and resident DJ at Gatecrasher. Yet it was a fateful meeting with Simon Raine lead to a residency at Bakers-UK, followed by their formation of Gatecrasher, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Many aspiring DJs will look at his recent career path as being the ideal route to guarantee stardom, success and a #38 place in the Djmag Top 100, but surely none can hope to emulate the incredible Gatecrasher success story. Not one to hog the media spotlight, Scott’s accessible mix of progressive trance has been responsible for winning him no shortage of fans the world over, headlining around the UK and at the various Gatecrasher Sound Systems that tour the globe. A string of coveted Radio 1 Essential Mixes in recent years have confirmed his status as an established member of the DJ elite.

With his UK super club going from strength to strength and further studio productions in the pipeline, we can expect Scott Bond to maintain his healthy status for some time yet.

This night come celebrate the official FERRY CORSTEN (System F, Tsunami-Neth, Moonshine, Glow) CD release party promoting his new mix CD, “Global Trancemissions 02”, on Moonshine Records (set for release end of March).

With trance music's ascension to the charts and global domination, progressive is the underground sound of trance that lights the way to the future and helps shape tomorrow's trance scene. Now forget the glowsticks, fridge magnets, Mitsubishis, spiky hair, cycling tops, and other such cyber madness. The scene would be nowhere without the DEEJAY, and the name which is constantly cited as the world's most prolific trance DJ and producer is Ferry Corsten. The 25-year-old 'flying' Dutchman who, as the mastermind behind System F, Gouryella (with Tiesto), Moonman, Marc Et Claude, Veracocha, and Albion, has earned his place at the forefront of the scene. DJ Magazine recently named Ferry Corsten the #19 DJ in the world.

This year Ferry already plans to release with Tiesto the new Gouryella album.
