Just a quick question to FSOL fans here. I recently saw this limited edition version of Dead Cities in a local record shop, going for £7. Now I already own the regular Dead Cities so as it stands I have little direct interest in buying it. My question is: how valuable is the limited edition, and would it be worth buying just to hang onto as a collector's item?
10 000 copies is still pretty much for making it anything extremely valuable for any others than true FSOL collectors. If it were 1000 or less, then it might be a different story. From what I gather from the notes there, the difference between the standard edition and the limited edition is very little except for the booklet and different cover art.
I'm a collector freak and would probably get it anyway, especially for below £8 if i were you just because it's a limited edition and from what i checked around, i'd say it's not actually worth anything more than £15-30 at most. Another thing is what greedy people are asking for their copies when selling them......and stupid people paying...

I don't think it would be worth that much, but hey, I could be wrong.
But yeah, like Allied Nations said - What an album!

I'll probably not bother with it then. It is a fantastic album, but I already own it (and both the singles from it).
