Vengeance Sample CDs

Hi, was just wondering if these are worth buying off ebay, they seem expensive for samples but is it really worth the money buying high quality samples, the ones i've being looking at are mainly House.

I'm not real familiar with the minimal house samples in particular, but it seems to me that vengeance samples are kind of hit and miss. For example, i like the sounds of Essential Clubsounds 1, but i can't stand a lot of the sounds of Essential Clubsounds 2. I also have Essential House and they sound alright. Just make sure you listen to the demos and whatnot. Its really just a matter of taste.

i have that one, it kicks ass

nice kicks, lots of hats/snares, synth shots are wicked though a lot of sampled material there so be careful

loops are kinda meh but i don't use them anyway

i don't know how much it costs since i got one from my buddy but i think $50-60 is definately a good price for it

i support Vengeance in most of his prodcuts. a guy like that deserves it. his samples are out of this world good and he does somethings with synthesis that would take me hours and hours of pounding my head to get.

i don't use his samples directly as most of them are rhythmic samples so i added tons of effects to them but his fx are great and i still use his sweeps for almost all my projects.

highly recommend, worth the buy and a good resource for anyone.

Vengeance is pretty much just rips from real tunes, either they filtered out the lows in the loops or just cut them out from tunes that didnt have a kick while the percussion was going.

I used to use the trance ones when I was first getting used to things years back. The single shots are nice and such but loops aren't anything special. They tend to be muddy aswell.

I have the minimal house and love it. The kicks are great and so is everything else on this cd.
I have most of the Vengeance cds and this one is my favorite right next to Vec v1

tbh, VEC1 and VFX are the best ones, imho.

a good purchase for instant quality sounds that you hear in alot of productions, but i find myself using cleaner less processed sounds more often these days and fuck hem up myself
