k so on my old laptop, when i went to the windows mixer, then went to recording, it had microphone, line in, and 'audio mix', which was essentially whatever was being played
so i could open up cooledit/audition and hit record to rip audio from a movie or something, simple as that
now i got a new laptop and haven't known how to do it, and there's seriously gotta be a way
anyone got any idea?
cor version: how do i make it so my recording input is whatever's being played on my computer? |
well lets make it quick. why the fuck would you want to take a digital source, start playing, then capture it as ANALOG!? thats just dumb. do you want to rip the sound out of a video? theres applications to just take it out directly. no digital to analog to digital conversion.
just so you understand what im saying...its like taking a picture. printing it then scanning it back into the computer. why the hell would you do that when you have a digital copy?
