Re: Question about Beatport downloads...

From the looks of it, I might have to reformat my laptop. I have a desktop pc where I can save all my music and such, but I'm running extremely low on HD space on that. If any, I'd rather loose any or all of my already downloaded beatport tracks and retrieve them later (re-download). Is that possible?
I read the FAQ on the site and didnt see anything within that region. Steve I remember I while back you had posted something about how you were able to download some tracks from beatport after a new pc purchse or something like that. Were you able to retrieve those or how did that work? |
Yep. You can email them with your invoices or just give them your user name. They can repost them to your library if they aren't in there. They are about to change the way they have their DL's to be like djdownload.com, where you can DL it twice. But email them first and see what they say. Another option is to get a cheap external hard drive with a back up and save them to that while you reformat. I had to do that before and I save everything to my external now.
