Invisible Grin [CHL/PRG] Purple Curse ft. Akia (Vocal Mix)

Hi all,

here's the final version of this proggy, crazy atmospheric track i've been working on.
Akia's lovely voice is included in this, subtle voices... what's the feeling it gives you?

We both had a lot of fun working this track out! Hope you like it!

this track is pretty nice. It has nice elements, and i like akias "whispers". Nice progressive track here, realy enjoying it!
I'm on a bit crappy headphones, but i think that the kick is a bit flat, anyway, the atmosphere is pretty nice.

good work on this one,

/Alex

Heard this in progress the other day...

It's pretty decent, nice track overall. Solid sounds, and it's well produced. Nothing more to add really, nice tune!

great vocals in the intro
I like the percussions very driving
think a bit too much for prog maybe, but it sounds good

nice melodies too...and nice synth sounds I like the effects too...

although those filterhats are a bit over-used

vocals are great thumbs up for that

overall production is nice, the bass is tight and just as it should be.

Maybe the overall level of the song could be brought up with some limiting but that's a different story, good job both of you

hey you too its a great track you produced here, akia's voice fits really well, the whispers are spot-on!

you can boost the volume really well with:

MAGIX Music Cleaning Lab 2007, which is great for mastering, noise reduction and overall equalizing.. and very simple ..

..or you could just set a compressor at -0.1 dB and a 6 dB Gain

ofcourse you may experience some creaking

Hey there.
Listening as i review:
I like the kick "games" in the beginning. I dont think the kick is too flat ... has a nice punch to it and good depth i think. Maybe its my speakers but the stereo field sounds weird somehow. Nice elements in this one. I like the clap too. Long but not too long. Same goes for the bassline. The Vocal Effects are inserted perfectly i think. I kinda miss a decent melody / harmony line ... but it works like that too.
Nice done!

The tune sounds great to me, nice proggy feel to it and the whispering vocals really works in this track, like the creepy little laugh as well.
