Thumbs up I got a presentation in 2hrs: Computers in Production & DJ'ing -could use your help!

Hey what's up guys

I got a 5-10 min power point (about 7-10 slides) presentation in my computer science class tonight on the production of music & djying. My outline is going to be something like this, so tell me how what you think of it. Feel free to tell me anything :

Topic:

Computers in Production of Electronic Music & DJying (coulding think of a better term)

[-Music Production-]
.how it works
.who uses it
.what instruments are used

-Software/Hardware (Music Prod.)
.What software/Hardware is used (plz help here

-The Revenue (Music Prod.)
.Who gets paid what
.How much to beats cost for artists

-Some Pictures (Music Prod)
I was thinking of just getting some professional setup pictures, surely you guys can help me out here

[-DJ'ing-]
-Where do Dj's play (DJ'ing)
.How they start off at home gigs -> houses -> clubs -> shows with massive crowds (Need help arranging this into a topic)

-Software/Hardware (DJ'ing)
.Serato Scratch (what I use)
.Vinyl maybe obsolete

-Revenues (DJ'ing)
.How much clubs pay the dj's
.Careers: Top DJ's make this much such & such

[-The Future-]
umm i was going to put some tacky quote as "The end of music production will never come, it is inevitable"

ANY type of insight will help. pictures of crowds and dj setups as well!

lol nice paradox

I think that's way too much material to talk about in 5-10 minutes

I once gave a seminar/dj demonstration for my music department's electronic music week and it lasted an hour with all the questions and what not and I only covered vinyl turntables beatmixing and serato scratch live...not to mention turntablism, cdjs, ableton, other dj software...

and music production where I go to school is split up into several classes which meet two days a week, so that's pretty ambitious to do it all in 5-10 minutes!

Go do your own research, and don't plagiarize.

You should have done this last week.

All of that isn't going to fit in a 10 minute presentation. Why don't you do it on how DJ mix two tracks? I think you could easily spend 5 minute talking about beatmatching, 4/4 time, bars, phrasing, etc.
