Tascam X-9?

Has anybody had a chance to look at this mixer up close? Pros/cons? How does it compare to a Pioneer DJM600 or Allen & Heath Xone 62?

Its definitley more powerful and massive, it features a dual sampler and effects, it has a massive sound quality and it looks great.
Personally I think its the best Club mixer made...
I thnk you should go for it if you have the cash.

I know a guy who tested the X-9 already, and personally what I got from him was : stay away for now. After a week some stuff from the mixer already broke. And after some time, similar reports came in too.
Sure the sound is good , the features are nice (2x sampler, parametric EQ, ...), but I'd say wait some more to see if the reliability is a real problem (maybe they'll sort things out). THE X-9 is still new (Tascam is a reputable manufacturer in pro audio, but they are still pretty new in the dj business, the CD-302 had some major probs as well it seems).

I'd say the DJM500/600 is still a good choice if you are looking for a hands on mixer, with good sound and build quality and nice features.
But (and I'm totally biased here, cuz I own one ) if you look for the absolute top quality in sound and build, but features like samplers and FX aren't that important at the moment (I myself like to buy everything apart, so I can choose according to my needs), and of course have the money, get the Xone you won't be disappointed...

Im lucky enough to be able to play on one of these at my saterday night Res.

Ive probably had about 15 hours on it...and I must say...It is by far the best mixer on the market at the moment...I know this as I work In a Music and DJ equipment Store by day.

It has many features that up and coming mixers will have active on them...If I had the money I woud buy one in an instance...

I dunno if DJ Thy is speaking the truth or not...But with all VCA Faders ...and an extra £30.00 fo a modular option...and ofcourse a 5 yaer insurance guarentee...they are well worth it.

I always speak the truth
Only had this info from a friend of mine, I've used the X-9 also, but not enough to judge the reliability in long term.
Besides I prefer my Xone
