i live in brampton which is close to toronto and i was just wondering if anyone knows how much it would cost to rent out a hall. I want to hold a party, like rent out a place and have a crazy party. if anyone has ever done this please tell me the process into doing it and/or tell me around how much it would cost me.

I'm in the process of organising a party (techno/goa)which is going to be in late feb... the venue we're giong to book (tommorow incidently) ... holds between 200-300 .. and is going to cost aprox 300$ .. it's around 110 - 130 for sound .. lights .. depends on what you want .. we're charging 5$ with food donation or 7 without.. thinking about getting a keg to sell cheap beer...

in total with a few other goodies .. 700-900$ ..

I'll post the details for it once it's confirmed btw...

AREA 51 will sometimes let you throw parties for free ..
it's gotta be 19+ though.. (so they can sell liquor) ..

I don't know what the legalities of renting a hall out and selling beer are, but I'm assuming it could be tricky. Might I be assuming too much?
