armin van buren in trinidad.
oh my what could i say. if there was one word to describe this party would be(fucking unbelieveable) ha 2 words in fact. Armin destroyed the scene in club zen. he seemed like ah god at the time controlling every movement of the crowd. it was great first time goin to an armin show. honestly i consider him #1 but that is a whole argument i would not get into. the crazy thing 2 was while he was playing a local band came out with there drums and fused a trance and kind of tribal beat together which sounded crazy, that had the crowd goin crazy. loved his tracklist, so sweet no mistakes, and was constantly going into breaks and driving the crowd crazy. loved it
ARMIN IS #1!!!!1

yeah he tore it up in NYC - Pacha, the show right after trinidad. Thank god he made it to nyc because we had a big storm that was cancelling almost all flights.
Got a tracklist for the trinidad show?

I will not be seeing this, but I can say that Armin is a good DJ. When I heard him play for my first time which was in EITP in the UK, he got me dancing throughout all of his set.
What a DJ.

I heard Trinidad was awesome. Not a place that I thought was into trance, but it sounds like it was a blast.

Wanted to go to this but had to be on-the-field (veterinary work) from 6am the next day - so past on it.
The trance scene here is growing. When I moved back here to study in 2003, no one really knew what EDM was - they knew main stream dance only. I have been giving friends here both cd's and live sets to listen too and have a growing group of people into EDM now.
Still feel musically isolated, even though can get the sets online - it does not compare to hearing a dj play live and interact with the crowd. I guess moving here from Toronto didn't help as a lot of big name dj's pass through the clubs in TO during the year. But at least I have my summer and Xmas hols off to head back to TO to hear some great prog, house and techno dj's spin it live.
