"February 2007 - Chicane Sets Up Independent Label
Chicane has today announced that they have parted company with
Universal and returned to their own independent label, 'Modena
Records', on which Offshore and other tracks first started life.
Modena will oversee the release of the next single "Come Tomorrow"
and the launch of the forthcoming album.
Final studio production on this highly-anticipated album is underway
at the moment and the expected release date is currently Summer 2007.
Further information, including live performance dates, will be
released on chicanemusic.com as soon as it is available."

Though I hope it resembles the earlier production styles.

+ 1. Let's hope he produces some more memorable tracks like Saltwater.

Be good to hear some new stuff soon, tracks like Offshore & Red Skies that really got me into trance more than any other tracks.

Interesting... Universal was planning on releasing his album originally and was waiting on some final touches, but I guess not - anyways thanks for the update; I also hope he's gone back to the 'good old ways' instead of the Stoned In Love style. I definitely liked 'Music For Elevators' though

I think he should put "Strong In Love" on that CD. Perhaps a remade version, but please, not "Stoned In Love", that's a horrible track I agree. "Strong In Love" was a great vocal track in my opinion, kind of under-rated (all I have is an old 160 kbps MP3 of that track, it's still listenable).

i never liked strong in love. i just thought the vocals were kind of stupid, it sounded more like background music played at a shopping centre rather than real trance that and stoned in love are the only tracks of his that ive ever really despised
