I'm just curious how many of you people work out on a regular basis (more than 30 minutes, 3 times a week). and if so what kind of exercise do you do?
Thanks,
Dave

3-4 times a week.
I try for no longer than 1 hr. / 1.5 hr tops.
I usually start with something aerobic like a X-trainer (less stress on your knees as apposed to running on the treadmill) for about 20-40 min. depending on how much time I have.
Then I'll either do upper or lower usually ending off with some ab work.
I've lost over 10 pounds since the beginning of the year and keeping it off.
I'd like to loose another 10 or so which will put me around 180. (I'm just under 6ft; something stupid like 5'11 and a little bit )
The hardest part is watching what I eat. I drastically changed my eating habits since I'm not 20 anymore and my metabolic rate has slowed. I don't starve myself; that's just wrong and only tells your body that it's starving and will slow your metabolic rate right down to store fat.
I do have the occactional 'cheat' day though where I eat what I want.
It's been a slow process for me but that's ok.
I'd rather take it off and keep it off permanently rather than loose a whole bunch of weight and then gain it back just as fast. That would be pretty disheartening.
I guess the main thing I could tell anyone about what I've learned it to be consistant.
It's a waiting game sometimes, but the results will come.
Just in time for summer!

Leg press 2S 10R 245Lbs
Leg Ext 2S 10R 200lbs

i do most of this if not all on avg about 3 times a week...since im a thrower i do alot of explosive leg stuff (squats, cleans(i love these), and leg press).... been doing this for about three weeks and its really paying off..ive lost 10lbs so far and put on a bunch of muscle

I work out quite often,
right across the street from us, IronDragon!(FAR)
it's quite a good gym, just do some cardio, and then lift.
cheers
Ilina

Ilina,
I prefer to workout at WIMPE. Its nice and compact, not as much stuff but less crowded than IMPE (WAY TOO CROWDED!). Never tried FAR. Maybe I will one of these days.
