I don't know if this is recently enough, but Marco V played at TAO 2007 in LA on New Year's Eve at the Sports Arena... He's great IMO. :-)

MarcoV has been diving into electro, house, and tribal for a few years now. He'll have nights where he plays all trance, but think he is moving more and more towards a different direction. Seems to play trance depending on the club he's at.

LOL, this is just based off of hearing him play tribal for half a set one night in 2004 (at a Love Parade SF preparty)...it was a total WTF moment for awhile there, but he kicked in the trance the last half the set.
But since then just look at his productions. Such mix of styles, but def more on the electro and house side. And you'll hear many reviews of his gigs where people say (and sometimes complaining)that he played little trance. But in others (like the last time he played in a club in LA), people come out saying he played some awesome trance set.

It's very true... Marco's sound has been moving the last season and a half of major events. I don't know what to think of his current stuff. Nice edit of his old track was recently released on InCharge though... mmm... Simulated.
