clubbing in Downtown Montreal Friday and Satirday nights
Hi guys,
Me and a bunch of friends are coming down to Montreal this weekend for Bal en Blanc. I was wondering if anyone can tell what good clubs are there in d/t Montreal (pref. not after hours) that would spin at least something electronic(or ideally just that).

no one really goes out, just post on TA all night/day. You could try Club Opera.. I think Max Graham is spinning on Friday, and Saturdays is a zoo. Also House Club and 1234.

You got choice. Academy is good on Fridays and Saturdays if you want something a bit more relaxed without the constant push and maybe you even want to pick up. If you just want to drink, Billy Kun is the best thing in town. BY NO MEANS GO TO ANYWHERE ON CRESENT ST. BECAUSE IF YOU DO AND YOU HAVE FUN, YOU MIGHT NOT BE HUMAN. Unless it's Brutopia (good beer). Ummm... if you like beefcake, go to Parking but be forewarned, any and all female-types will be rudely barred at the door. 'Pas des filles' actually means 'pickles only' in French. Be sure to use this when ordering food. My choice for all would be to attend the Corpusse show at the casa del popolo on saturday. This will make you limber and ease your mind before sunday.
Also, salon daome and unity are good locales as well. If you weren't sure, stereo is the man. Paix.
