agreed, too many people are on different platforms so it's nice to have one central repository. if someone's just looking to talk to randoms then anything will do but if you actually use it for business and other socializing then it's key to be compatible across all platforms.

msn ownz ya all.

Only one I use these days is MSN, and thats a rarity in itself.

But if your having problems deciding or don't like being on 5 chat apps at once "poking holez in teh flamewallz" just break out the trillian or gaim.

around here everyone uses AIM. I also use MSN from time to time.

everyone in west coast uses AIM or MSN...i stick with AIM cuz everyone is noobs
