or there even won't be a series if the isles win today, which would be better overall for the leafs since then they can really think about structure of the team and see who needs to shape up, stay or get fired ie. JFJ.
As a true leafs fan i'd rather see them lose and do some form of restructuring because i know it'll be better later on. cuz now, even if they make it in, they'll get past one round IF they are extremely lucky. they won't pull wat the oilers did last year because they don't have that sort of goaltending that the oilers had.
but don't get me wrong, i'll still cheer for them if they make it in, but i think i'll be more disappointed when they get knocked out than if they just didn't make it in at the beginning.
