Saw that on Trance.nu. Sounds cool, however I hope it's not full of trainwrecks. But he has improved his mixing, like on CDs or with Ableton, so this sounds like it could be as big as ASOT has been. Dunno if I'll have the time to listen to it, but I may check out a few episodes.

Tiësto's show will be split in two parts. The first hour will feature a mix of current hits, and in the second hour Tiësto will present all kinds of genres, from minimal, house and trance, and of course the most exclusive releases in advance.

p.s. admit it--you heard about this on your Tiesto Vista app, didn't you?
Oh, and this is the beginning of the tremendous bastardization of the word "minimal" even though it's already received enough of that lately. I'm calling it, kids will be coming here in droves calling everything Minimal.

my friends convinced me to see tiesto when he was in the area so i figured, why not? as soon as we arrive there and are waiting to get in the building i hear Gebrunn Gebrunn playing and i was totally confused? Anyway, cut to the chase, as soon as i stepped foot INSIDE the club Gebrunn Gebrunn was over and he was back to playing his trance/tech-trance/stuff i do not care for. Go figure
Awesome Cant wait to tune in, I like the hour changes.

Haha, yeah, I lol'd hard when I saw that in his playlist a few weeks back. It looked far too out of place.

Hahahaha
lets hate on this right now, to get that out of our systems shall we?
re: minimal
You can hardly say Tiesto's PR team is the first to use this as a mis-placed genre title.
Actually, had you taken your elitist head out of the sand for 10 minutes last summer, and heard Tiesto talking about new influences to his sound, you'd know that he ALSO takes the piss out it being called Minimahhhhl.
So get off your elitist backside and do something about it. How about promote a different word for that type of glitchy sound with elements of house, trance & techno. Ah shit, hang on that takes effort, its far easier to just continue crying about how these top DJs are killing the scene...
pathetic.
/rant - i'm off to beatport to buy some more **n*mal ssshhhhh!
