What worries me is no such much of the lineup on its own. CL = Awesome. Benny Bennassi = Awesome. Infected Mushroom Live = Schweet!!!
Again, on their own.
But for beautiful progression throughout the night, I am not sure how it will work. The last trance headliner is going to be KEY and then so will be the timeslots.
It's the same problem I had at the 2005 LoveParade afterparty. For the most part (in the main room), nice lineup = Carl Cox, Markus, Ferry, BBB, etc....but just because of the differences in styles and with the timeslots, it made it for a rough night musically, IMO.
Then there was this year's LoveFest where I thought the progression was awesome. Good lineup, and good timeslots for the most part (ie. It wasn't perfect but it was def an improvement)!! And then they had house completely seperated in its own room which I thought was a great setup too.
But this is a step back. The house room looks great for the most part, as long as they do the timeslots right.
Going by them having four locals in the mainroom, makes me think it was a bit difficult to get who they necessarily wanted...lots of DJs are already well booked around then because of WMC. Anyhow, continuing to look at the local lineup and seeing how Skills has generally set them up timeslot wise makes me really worried!!!!
But that's just me. Not knocking on the lineup on its own, but more worried about progression. Key headliners are important for ticket sales, but I personally feel progression is more important if you want people to be interested in future parties.
