right now the real is almost right at 2 to 1.
So I paid $35! About an avg. price for a big DJ in a club, male ticket. Just like LA, the prices will go up, and for guys like Tiesto, PVD, Ferry, the price will be 2x or 3x at the door. There's always tons of guys looking for tickets willing to pay anything (they just can't miss the show - sound familiar?)
The screwed up thing is you have to go to the mall to buy the tickets at some clothing store (PITA), and it's enitely possible you show up and they run out of the male tix, and only have female tix. They actually print different ones, and are very strict about it.
in a nutshell...at least here, DJs seemed to get paid on the US dollar scale, and therefore the tickets are priced closer to the dollar than local currency.
Cool thing is that when my gf goes, she pays less, and it makes it easier for girls to decide to go out to the club - cause here girls are less likely to blow their money on a club. I guess they're the smarter!
