Napalm Enema Recordings

Napalm Enema Recordings is a new independent label dedicated to releasing the finest quality Acid and Analog Electronica music and raising awareness of environmental issues.
NER was started in 2007 by an Acid music lover in BC and an anonymous partner in London. The label is currently opperated by four people and is intended as an Acid Test for both Acid music artists and Acid fans.

NER intends to provide more opportunities for Acid House/Techno/Rave artists to have their music released. Acid music made with the classic sounds of the TB-303 and other vintage Roland analog synths and drum machines is the origin of most modern electronic dance music. This excellent, ever-fresh style is gaining a new generation of fans.

In addition to Acid, NER promotes other interesting, innovative analog Electronica, from DnB and Braindance (Innovation in the Dynamics of Acid) to Experimental sounds.

We at Napalm Enema Recordings bring you only best creative electronic music, wonderfully mastered, IN THE WORST POSSIBLE PACKAGING WE CAN MANAGE.

These days anyone can take their Photoshopped cover art to the printer across the street to cheaply and easily produce professional packaging consisting mostly of massive amounts of glossy colored papers which are wasteful and harmful to the environment. Then it is shrink-wrapped in yet more unnecessarily wasted plastic, why? So you can know you were the first to open your CD, is it worth it for the waste? We at Napalm Enema Recordings don’t think so!

Almost everything we buy is overpackaged with extra and unnecessary plastic, glossy printed boxes along with many other recyclable and non-recyclable materials. We at Napalm Enema Recordings say, “FOR THE LOVE OF *&^%$& STOP THE SENSELESS WASTE!!! Let’s stop producing, using, and supporting the production of uncessesary materials that serve little or no purpose before being thrown away as waste. To do this, we must break the belief that such things are necessary, and break the cultural habit we have of using them and producing unnecessary amounts of waste without caring that we are doing so, or worse, caring, but still not doing anything about it.

The music industry has many problems that result in either good music being unavailable, and/or overpriced. Why should you, the listener, pay extra for fancy artwork and complex wasteful packaging?

At Napalm Enema Recordings, each unit of music is spontaneously decorated and prepaired out of limited common household waste materials.

We use only the finest Type I Normal Cassette tapes for our "Grand Audio Cassette Collection" (or GACC, for short) releases, and only the finest Avery white labels obtainable from any stationary store.

We use only the finest recycled carboard boxes for our inserts and "Box Sets." Each is hand cut, labeled and decorated by our special staff of children and retards.

Just kidding, sort of. For our staff we hire only the most desparate young white males because they are the cheapest labour available. They will work for next to nothing because they form a sort of “3rd world” within the “1st world” (see the entire Myspace Music section for a complete list of such individuals. If we don’t hire them, what will become of them?).

We at Napalm Enema Recordings ultimately use this outrageously, unthinkably rebellious packaging system to draw attention to the ever growing need to adress Environmental issues. Therefore, we hope to work closely with businesses, organizations and individuals who are working towards the improvement of the environment.
