I'm quite a fan of psy trance and producing bits of stuff myself appreciate how difficult it is too make.

I would say that the arrangements and sounds are pretty damn good. The tune is very atmospheric and each element sits nicely.

Think the bassline is far too loud and the kick is slightly too loud. Sound Levels is the area that could do with a tweak.

Top effort!!

Funny you say too loud for the bass and kick, I was thinking they where too low...Nice that you said this, it means that they are the perfect level...

Let's see what other ppl say.

Okay, listening...

nice ambience in the beginning. dark bubbling evil fm/lfo/whatever sounds. I like the arrangement of FX.
now onto the first bits of melody.
hmm, kick and bass work nicely for me. Maybe the kick is too heavily compressed, that could be a little problem, I like the sound tho.
2:15 things get already very intense here. I think the bassline could be better in key with the melody.
2:35 nice little break! whoa, hehe massive fill.
The lead melody is great. Some awesome typical Frosty trademark FX too. I think the lead synth could be a little less noisy if I had to find anything wrong about it, this would be the only thing.
4:50 deep layer, adds a lot of depth, really. Also hard to notice but adding a lot to the depth of sounds is the hi pitched arpeggio in the background.
6:30 this gets really driving now. nice rythm, great! Maybe that gated thing takes even a little too much space in the mix, but again a little detail.

Okay, this was a nice track, and also a little different to your Psy tracks. I like how you experiment with other styles, definately stick to that. One thing about the mix, I think it needs a little less low end, there is a little clipping, at least in my shitty WMP.
Anyway, keep it up!

Bass is slightly too loud. Kick is also too loud and just sounds wrong to me

That said, the buildups are excellent and with the above problems fixed this is easily a releasable piece of Goa. Great track apart from those few issues

Why does everybody think the kick is too loud? and the bass is too loud? If it's a technical reason, then I might turn em down...But I like how loud that shit is...

Try routing kick and bass after compressing and EQ separately to the same channel and put a limiter on them, and make the limit way below the 0dB mark. That way you can make sure you dont get clipping in the low range.

So eq and compress the kick, eq and compress the bass, then take those seprate sources and route them both into one mono channel and limit it?

Is that what you mean? Ill try that.
