Pointless Hockey Interviews
In between the anthems being sung, Don Cherry's brilliant non-discriminant comments and the actual hockey games, we of course get the wonderfully insightful mid-period, post game interviews with the players.
After watching the first few games of the playoffs, I couldn't help but notice how great these are. They are always so full of interesting information that we couldn't have come up with ourselves had the player not been so nice as to share his knowledge with us.
As an example, here I will give one right now, even though I didn't play the game.
"Well, its tough out there, you know the puck going through the neutral zone, and we're just not skating well. We've got to get back on or feet and make quicker turns.
If we can start following our checks, and keeping our eyes on the goal, I think things can turn around for us.
They're tough, they've got expert turners, and we have to be ready for em. We can't keep sitting on our leads like this, our powerplay really needs to pull together otherwise I think we'll be watching the next series from the sidelines."
Keep up the good work guys.
