i have a 3 1/2 year old pair of sony mdr-7506 that i paid about $100 for...
and i noticed that the left cup cuts in/out and sounds crunchy. this isn't terrible because i use the right cup for monitoring, but i use these late at night for production so the neighbors won't get pissed. is it worth the time/effort to try to fix it?
I'm buying a few pairs extra. They fit better when they're more new. Though I like taking the older ones out in case they get lost/stepped on/stolen etc...plus the stickers came off so they look original

Yea, I believe when I got mine it came with a complete blow up diagram on what each replacement part is and how to take it apart, see if you can find that and it should def be worth fixing them
