I have a yousendit account, so it doesn't bother me.
Yousendit also has a 1 week expiry, regardless of activity from downloaders.
Rapidshare is annoying, it has 100mb limitations and on some of their many servers across domains (.com vs .de) some have time restrictions (I remember at one point on some of their servers waiting 2-3 mins for a link). Has one of the longer up times though (30 days expiry after the last download, so as long as someone downloads before that it renews the 30 days).
Megaupload is free for us, but has a 30 second wait for the link.
Sendspace is also free, and there are no waits. I'd recommend this one if you don't want to make an account as an uploader to keep your files sorted. They provide two emails so you can email yourself the link in case you don't write it down or post it, and they provide you with a delete link to delete a file you no longer want hosted.
