Can someone please upload the mixing sequence in the film It's All Gone Pete Tong. I mean the part in the movie where you see the DJ mix, ie you hear what's in his headphones etc.
Could someone post this part of the movie. Just a few seconds or something, plz. ;P

I just rewatched the clip and he puts the needle down near the end of the track he's mixing in, then the camara cuts to a different angle and the needle is on the edge of the record where it should be.
Ooops!

what type of headphones are those anyway?
I've tried looking for the headphones he wears througout the movie, but I just can't find them, the only single earcup headphone models I've found are the Stanton DJ PRO 300 or the Vestax KMX-3 (the stick) but they look nothing like the ones in the film, can anyone help?

That thing was like a damn megaphone put up to his ear. You're right about the mix, he's got some skillz sliding that cross fader like that.

Almost as bad as the mixes in Kevin and Perry Go Large.
Mind you, if the mixing was seamless. 99% of people watching the film wouldn't even notice the mix.
RE: Headphones,
The main ones used in the film are:
Sony MDR V700, though they are not used in this sequence, they bear a resemblence to the Sony 7906's in terms of size anyways. But they could be anything really.
And to my memory, he just has the cups folded under one another as appose to simply having a one sided headphone.
