Help A Newbie DJ! (How did you get into this?)
what's up everybody~
I just registered to this forum.
I've been listening to hip hop since I was a kid,
house & trance since I made a euro trip 3 years ago
and now I'm officially addicted to trance no joke 
I started with funky/deep house, melodic/dreamy trance
but now I only seem to dig electro house/progressive house&trance/
tech-trance (actually anything trance related is fine with me)
psy-trance is slowly growing on me
I grew up in N.Y. but living out here in South Korea, it's
hard to find information on this kind of music, and especially
records...
I used to order lp's from htfr or a few other sites since I used to mess around with regular turntables but this past week I've just picked up some cdj's and decided to get into mixing electronica exclusively.
I've been listening to a lot of music these past years, going to all the parties I could (AVB, Rank 1, Tiesto, PVD, Astrix, Infected Mushroom, Erick Morillo, Sasha, Lee Burridge, Darren Emerson, just to name a few...yes I've been partying! haha  )
But after finding this forum, I've realized that I don't know shit and I need to get schooled...lol
so if anybody can give a newbie any good sites to start out with,
or stories about how you guys started, please help me out.
