“Those Things” represents an open-minded spectrum that can have multi-meaning and definition,” states the San Francisco-based producer about his follow-up to his 2002 debut Colorful You (Astralwerks/Naked Music). “It’s electronic music inspired by old soul, funk, reggae and hip-hop incorporating lots of live elements.” These elements include the trumpet, congas, saxophone, guitar, bass and, of course, a diverse array of guest vocalists throughout. These include Sadat X from Brand Nubian, Lisa Shaw, Tim Fuller, Fred Ross from Sly and the Family Stone and reggae heavy weight Junior Reid. Miguel is touring April through fall in support of the album and is putting together a band which will start performing at the beginning of the summer.

Miguel will be touring with two singers in most cities. The following are available to tour: LISA SHAW, L.T. (from Sweetback), TIM FULLER (Bombay).
