The newest Wipeout is coming on PS3 in digital format, downloadable via Playstation Store, at 18€ in Europe (excluding UK), 12£ in UK and in US around 20$ (not quite sure).
8 tracks (16 if you count the inverted)from Wipeout Pure (6) and Wipeout Pulse (2) and probably new tracks downloadable, 8 teams and a soundtrack with tunes of Kraftwerk (amazing Aero Dynamik, this tune rules), Booka Shade, Mason (Exceeder, what is doing here?), Ed Rush and many more.
I like better to buy it in a physical format, with his case, his blu-ray, manual... but it's a wipeout. I'll buy it anyway.

I'm going to buy it day 1.
They changed the look of Zone mode because it failed Epilespy tests
There was a video that showed the comparisons-I can't seem to find it now.
But now it looks a very bright bland. Rather than:

Please post that comparison video if you can, if they changed it too much away from that, that is a damn fucking shame. That video alone put me in a trance.
As for picking this game up, I'd love to, but the ethernet jack on my PS3 is fucked and can't connect to the PSN, which is just great. Now not only can I not play games online, but I can't play Wipeout HD. Bullshit. I'm hoping a hard copy gets made at some point in time.

wow that is such BS...The preview build looks much better. Why do they have to ruin an entire feature of the game for .001% of the population who have epilepsy? Those dumbasses should know to stay away from video games in the first place, especially racing games.

Just had my first session with this game... looks very sharp and runs beautifully (1080p & 60 fps). I couldn't help but to smile when I had my first race and Xpander started playing in the background...

This game will also let you create your own custom soundtrack using the mp3s stored on the PS3 hard drive.
