Typing as I listen. I can't give times because my embedded QuickTime player doesn't indicate it. Good buildup and tension building. I like the slow breakdown. Nice break! The mix is not professional, but its better than what I can do myself. Overall, good job! I did find some parts a bit too repetitive, but that may just be me.
nice beginning like the sweeping synths however they dont really fade out they just die straight away perhaps a bit better if they faded out at the point where the bea comes in. nice energetic build up, love the chords. I like the melody that comes in at 3:00. breakdown is very nice, you've given it a very mysterious sort of feel to it. perhaps cut down a bit on the fuzzy noise in the background through the song its a bit distracting. also maybe make the lead melody a bit louder and lower the delay a bit. nice rhythm, it gives the song its energy but personally like I said i would cut down on the delay and the background synths. the lead melody in carabella definately has a lot of energy and can be repeated quite a few times and I would take advantage of that and make it a bit louder. like the way it fades out into the outro but maybe the elements of the song should last longer and be cut out one by one. all in all id say this is quite a good remix in my opinion perhaps a little bit more work needed on it though. its going on my ipod alongsie the galen & orjan mix though

first thing is its not dj friendly dont no if you made it for dj purposes or just fun though.
intro sounds are nice but the fx you have running through it is drowning out the other sounds. i think a bit less volume on this and some eq should solve it.
like how you changed the sound of the original lead. breakdown again sounds are dominating the mix and drowning out other parts.
transitions are not falling into place properly. definately need to rethink your eqing the kick feels like its in the background and not the focal point of the track.
hope i dont sound to harsh but you could make this a good remix if you work on your arrangment, sound and eq more.
In terms of DJ friendly, this track isn't a problem, there is plenty with a half decent DJ to work with their. Don't worry about that part.
In terms of your EQ, you desperately need to tame the uper frequencies above all else, but some care needs to be taken with the lows also.
Make sure you roll off what you don't need on the bassline between 20 to 50 hz (This can change depending on sound etc) and then do the same for the kick.
On the kick and bass, lower some of the midrange frequencies to get rid of some mud. i.e. between about 250hhz to 800hz.
Route your kick and bass to the same bus and then compress them again and then place a stereo widening effect on there (Widebug for example) and slap it all the way to mono. Whilst the kick shouldn't need to have this it will help to gel the kick with the bass. If you want to separate the kick slightly more to emphasize the punch of the kick you can duck the bass with a sidechained compressor.
With the pad and lead, you need to roll off some of the higher stuff around 8khz to stop that big wall of hiss that you have there as it's sucking up heard room.
With higher stuff take out any frequencies that mess with the kick and bass frequencies below around 150 to 250hz.
Again with the snare rolls, you need to remove the frequencies that it has that shares the kick and bass lower region when it plays at the same time as them because at the moment it's eating into that.
You may also find that in some places, panning may be a better solution than EQing.
The other thing is that the main pad/melody is far too loud and this would probably go a long way to helping you pick out the rest that needs to be done.
I'm sure you are aware most of the above anyways so I'm sorry if I'm repeating what you already know.
