Avanlon was used to be owned by the same owner of Ruby Skye..it got bought out by some Major SF EDM lovers recently. They did some interior changes..

It's actually the South Bay people I know that's pushing for a South Bay EDM event that's why we'll do something about it. Our intent is to throw Monthly parties on Friday Nights. We are not planning to stop our Saturday night migration to the City (SF) to get our EDM fix. But we feel that we need something here in the South Bay atleast once a month.

This is also a great opportunity to showcase the great pool of local DJ/Producer talent here in the South Bay and ofcourse also bring all the SF DJ/Producers down here. We will also try our best to work with the other local promoters such as Alibi and Addicted SF who are currently throwing Friday night events to make sure that we don't have date conflicts with our events. We've always supported these groups in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

We realize that San Jose will never be like SF (for now) but atleast we feel that this is a good frist step towards that direction. It's our belief that there is a great opportunity to spread the EDM scene here in the South Bay and we hope that we can contribute to that effort.

We hope to see a lot of SFTA next Friday. We've been busy promoting this event in the last few weeks here in San Jose and we are expecting a great turn out. Your support will be much appreciated

We hope to have a SJTA Shirt thread (discussion) here in the FUTURE . That's our DREAM and We BELIEVE

Sure we definitely will.. I have thrown serveral parties last summer in the south bay..it turned out pretty crazy ...

I believed Solid Grooves is still out there.. the last time I visited them was last year. they have moved to down town Sj (santa clara street)...thats an old school record store...more than 15 years now??

Solid Groove is NO MORE. They went out about 6 months ago for not having a proper fire sprinkler system.
They rocked when they where located off the alameda!!!
